The formation of the information culture of students in teaching a foreign language is one of the urgent problems of our time. The article discusses pedagogical methods aimed at improving the information competence of students in the process of learning a foreign language. Information literacy helps students develop the skills of research, analysis, application and generalization of information. Through interactive methods, project work, the use of Internet resources, critical thinking and the integration of media resources, student engagement and autonomy are enhanced. As a result, students effectively learn a foreign language and are ready to successfully participate in the global information world. The pedagogical methods presented in the article are aimed at improving the quality of the educational process, developing the information culture of students, and meeting the requirements of modern education.
