CRITICAL THINKING AS A WAY TO DEVELOP STUDENTS' CREATIVE COMPETENCIES

Abstract

This study focuses on the role and significance of critical thinking in developing students' creative competence. The use of critical thinking methods in the educational process is considered an effective tool for unlocking creative potential and enhancing problem-solving abilities. The primary goal of the study is to develop strategies for integrating critical and creative thinking to improve students' intellectual and creative capacities.

The methodology involved problem-based learning, idea generation, and analytical task-solving. Special indicators and diagnostic tools were developed to assess creativity, and practical activities were conducted. The findings revealed that fostering critical thinking significantly improves students' ability to solve creative problems, generate ideas freely, and make innovative decisions.

In conclusion, the study confirms the importance of critical thinking in developing creative competence and highlights that its widespread application in the educational process enhances education quality.
