Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of mythological aspects in Kazakh folklore as an important component of the spiritual culture and worldview of the Kazakh people. The focus is on the main mythological images, archetypes and symbols recorded in the oral folk tradition: in epics, legends, tales and rituals. The work examines the features of mythological thinking characteristic of nomadic society, as well as the role of myths in the formation of ethnocultural identity. Special attention is paid to the classification of mythological plots and their transformation in the process of historical development. The relationship of myths with other forms of folklore, including the heroic epic, magic tales and cult songs is analyzed. The influence of Tengrian beliefs, animistic ideas and shamanistic elements on the structure and content of mythological texts is also considered. The article is based on an interdisciplinary approach, including methods of comparative mythology, structural anthropology and cultural studies. The study aims to identify deep meanings and symbolic layers in Kazakh folklore, which contributes to a more complete understanding of the spiritual heritage of the people.
