The article considers the pedagogical significance of teaching young people through ethnopedagogical means, especially proverbs and riddles to children of junior school age through games, in accordance with modern requirements. Ways of conducting children's educational activities through games are also given. Improving the quality of education in our country, making children literate, and filling their feelings with national culture are considered the most important issues. In particular, the article discusses the place of introducing proverbs and riddles, which are elements of didactic means for primary school children through games, into their lives.
The importance of play in the educational process for children of primary school age is very great. Play directly affects the psychological and cognitive development of children. It has been proven that proverbs and riddles taught through play help children expand their vocabulary, develop their thinking, and also learn folk knowledge and culture.
