Abstract

he article provides an in-depth analysis of the role and responsibilities of the class teacher in the life of the school, noting the great importance of the class teacher in educational work at school. The class teacher not only ensures the education of children, but also performs important functions of a mentor, organizer and educator. His main tasks are to improve the level of education of students, their socio-psychological development, strengthen discipline, get to know each student better, and ensure class cohesion. It was emphasized that the class teacher should conduct educational work on the basis of folk pedagogy and work closely with parents. It was noted that it is important for him to constantly improve his skills and work in accordance with modern educational requirements. The unity of parents, teachers and the community is of great importance for the effectiveness of educational work at school. It was noted that when conducting educational activities at school, the school administration, subject teachers, parents, psychologists, and class teachers should closely cooperate. The main attention was paid to close communication with the class and each student, as well as continuous work. This article can be used by school teachers and students.
