In this article, along with a study of Asanaliev's literary and critical activities, questions were considered about the value of ideological and aesthetic criteria, their specifics, and how the critic impressed readers in general. K. Asanaliev's literary and critical views in the post-Soviet period. We tried to reveal Kasymbekov's Novel through his analyzed scientific articles. Being one of the luminaries of National literary criticism and literary criticism, Keneshbek Asanaliev at one time expressed his vision of all the innovations taking place in the literary process, was a bridge between writer and reader, explored the artistic, aesthetic, genre nature of works. Here, the academic critic talks about the novels of the Hero of the Kyrgyz Republic Tulegen Kasymbekov, written in the genre of tetralogy. Together with Asanaliev's highly appreciated reviews of two subsequent books ("Baskyn", "massacre") We note the ambiguity of assessments and views. In the end, the critics were not satisfied with the fact that some episodes from the novel "The Broken Sword" were transferred to later novels. We drew conclusions by noting that we are talking about these portable episodes.
