REFLECTION OF THE DIVERSE FEATURES OF THE TEACHING PROFESSION IN LITERARY WORKS

Abstract

In the proposed study, exemplary examples of the personal and professional qualities of teachers of different eras and national cultural contexts, along with their negative aspects, are reconstructed in accordance with the normative requirements of the pedagogical profession. The study was carried out using the method of document analysis in accordance with the qualitative research model, through the analysis of the images of teachers in the works of various writers from a pedagogical perspective. The sources of the study, that is, the teachers in the analyzed works of art, belong to different peoples and different historical periods. However, they are all united by the eternal noble qualities and sad shortcomings of a great profession that does not obey the scale of time and space. The image of teachers in works of art can be a worthy source of knowledge and an effective reference point for modern teachers to understand, recognize and correct the nature of the profession within its multifaceted dimensions.
