PROBLEMS OF PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF SCHOOLCHILDREN IN MODERN CONDITIONS.

Abstract

Patriotic education now, being one of the priority areas of education, is an integral part of the process of preparing the younger generation to perform the most important social functions in various spheres of life. In recent years, extremist pseudo-patriotic movements characterized by nationalism have been observed in the country, instilling the need for patriotic activity, relying on the space of world civilization. In this regard, in the education of patriotism, the rejection of previously familiar stereotypes, education taking into account modern realities, is becoming increasingly important. New problems related to the education of schoolchildren require a revision of the essence of patriotic education, its place and role in the life of Kyrgyz society. It is becoming increasingly obvious that it is necessary to turn to the universal source of folk pedagogy, the only form, means of education before the appearance of scientific and pedagogical theories. This article deals the ways of considering and solving these issues, the education of patriotism of schoolchildren with the adaptation of the educational content of folk pedagogy to the present day.
