THE PRIMARY IMAGE OF KANYKEY IN THE EPIC MANAS

Abstract

The article describes the contribution of the wise Bakai and Chubak heroes in the election of Manas to  Kanykei as a life partner, as well as the  the vanity and arrogance of the rich Zhakyp Khan.  The relationship and love of Kanykei's father Temirkhan for his daughter is also important.  As the Kyrgyz proverbs say,  all that the chick sees in the nest is done during the flight, Kanykei grew up well off from childhood, and in the future she overcomes all of life's hardships thanks to the upbringing she received in her father's home.

As brave and wise as she was, fate did not spare her trials that fell to her lot made her resilient. The trials she faced made her more resilient again. It is also analyzed that a courageous mother in such a difficult time came out of the bucra, boiled the cauldron of the Kyrgyz people, stood with husband for the sake of the integrity of the nation and became a role model for all Kyrgyz women.
