Abstract

Parentsalsooftenusepunishmentwhenraisingtheirchildren.Whetherpunishment should be used in the upbringing of children,what is the pedagogicalessence of the use of punishmentineducationalworkandhowitaffectsthechildisoneof the issuesthatcanattract the specialattention of parents.

Punishing children with punches is prohibited by law in at least 44 countries around the world. Sweden passed the first law against child injury in 1979. And in our country, scenes in which parents are beaten and children are beaten with their hands leave fodder for fierce discussions in society. Some say that a child should not raise his hands, while others say that the method that comes from the ancestors is to "whip" to induce discipline.

Andhowshould we treatthe"punishments"thatarecommonplaceinsomefamilies? Is it possibletoraise a childwithoutpunishment?

Thisarticle will tellparentsabout the role of punishmentinraisingchildrenin the family.
