Abstract

 In this article, we analyzed the pedagogical ideas and the transmission of environmental education in fairy tales and stories in elementary school using the example of S. Kazybaev's fairy tale "Adam's Heart" and S. Rysbaev's work "Unbroken Flowers". Modern society is characterized by a difficult environmental situation in the world. Environmental issues are considered at different levels, and various measures are being taken to improve the environmental situation in the world. In this regard, one of the urgent tasks of modern pedagogy is the formation of an ecological culture. Therefore, we have shown that fairy tales also have a place in environmental education for children and their comprehensive development. Fairy tales play an important role in shaping children's personal qualities, communication skills, moral values, and a sweet relationship with nature. The importance of fairy tales in environmental education and their role in instilling in children the concepts of love for nature and its preservation, as well as their pedagogical impact, are shown. The importance of explaining to children how forests help life on Earth, instilling in them a respect for nature, and explaining that cutting down trees is a serious danger not only to plants and animals, but also to humans, was illustrated through the work “The Kindness of Man.”
