Abstract

This article thoroughly examines methods and techniques for using geometric shapes i n didactic games and their practical application in everyday life for primary school students. Teaching geometric shapes contributes significantly to developing logical thinking, spatial orientation, and imagination in young learners. The article highlights the importance of didactic games and explores how they can be integrated into the educational process, as well as provides examples of the practical use of geometric shapes in real life. Didactic games increase students' interest in mathematics and facilitate easier knowledge acquisition. Additionally, examples of using geometric shapes in daily life are presented. Specifically, the usage of rectangles, squares, circles, and triangles in construction, household items, and daily life is explained. Introducing real-life examples helps students practically understand and apply mathematical concepts.
