ASSORTMENT OF WOODY AND SHRUBBY PLANTS IN THE COSMONAUTS SQUARE OF OSH

Abstract

Public gardens are important elements of urban infrastructure that contribute to improving the quality of life in cities. Trees and shrubs in such areas play a key role not only from an aesthetic point of view, but also from an ecological point of view. The correct selection of the assortment of trees and shrubs and their condition affect the biodynamics, microclimate and general state of the environment in the urban environment. The correct selection of the assortment of trees and shrubs and their care are the main factors determining the ecological state of the public garden. Studying the relationship of plants with the environment and caring for green spaces will help create favorable conditions for human life in the urban environment. Intensive greening not only improves the environmental situation, but also improves the quality of life of city residents.

To determine the types of trees and shrubs, identifiers were used, according to the results of which 14 species of trees and shrubs belonging to 11 families, 13 genera were identified and their vital states were assessed according to the "Method of inventory of urban green spaces".
