EXTRACURRICULARACTIVITIES AS A PART OF THE PROFILED EDUCATION WITHIN SCHOOL REFORM IN KYRGYZSTAN

This article is devoted to the issue of the profile-based education in high school as an aspect of the 12-year education model in Kyrgyzstan. The key issues include the relevance of education reform and current global trends affecting the process of personality development, upbringing, and professional competencies. The article examines the practical significance of the etiquette strategies and the in-depth study of foreign languages in senior specialized classes, which are organized according to students’ level of preparation, interests, and professional orientation. The experimental extracurricular activities conducted at the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University are one of the examples of the profiled education in high school based on close cooperation between the university and schools. The new programs, updated goals, and objectives of general education will certainly have a positive impact on the development of communicative competence and allow students to achieve higher personal and interdisciplinary learning outcomes.
