Abstract

The article contains information about some pests of juniper forests on the territory of the Kyrgyz-Ata National Nature Park. Currently, it is important to study the sanitary condition of juniper forests, as juniper forests protect the soil from erosion in mountain areas, regulate water runoff, and preserve soil fertility. However, juniper forests are affected by various pests. In particular, juniper seeds are of great importance for natural regeneration. Object of research: pests Juniperus zeravchanica Com, J.semiglobosa Rgl., J.turkestanica Com, discovered in the Kyrgyz-Atina National Natural Park. Standard methods of forest entomology were used during the research. One of the main methods was the route method of research. For discussion, there is information about some pests of junipers.
