Abstract

There is a growing awareness in all schools today of the importance of digital literacy and ICT competencies for the success of students in education, work and life. As more and more aspects of daily life move online, the ability to use digital tools effectively and responsibly is becoming a critical skill for individuals and society as a whole. Therefore, ICT competency assessment is an important aspect of modern education as it allows educators, or in our case teachers, to identify areas in which students need to improve and provide them with targeted support and resources. And traditional assessment methods like paper-based tests or oral exams may not be sufficient to measure the full range of ICT competencies, which are dynamic and constantly evolving.
