The article first provides concepts of plurality. It describes the methodology for forming elementary concepts of plurality in children during the pre-numerical period ("many" and "one", their relationships) and gives examples related to these concepts. The methodology for teaching the grouping of objects and phenomena for children of different ages is presented. Additionally, the methodology for forming the ability to practically establish important one-to-one correspondences between the elements of sets is discussed. The methodology for forming concepts of plurality in preschool children of middle and senior groups is outlined, as well as the methodology for teaching children in the senior preschool group to graphically represent sets and their elements, with examples provided on this topic. This article will serve as a guide for educators in preschool educational institutions and for students specializing in the relevant fields.
