Attention is drawn to the definitions of a non-standard problem in a school mathematics course given by various scientists, and attempts are made to give a definition of a non-standard tasks. The role of non-standard questions was also emphasized. Examples of non-standard tasks were given and certain requirements for them were indicated. There is also space for non-standard task functions.
