THE ROLE OF THE EMOTION OF GRATITUDE IN RELATIONSHIPS WITH CHILDREN

This article is devoted to the study of the role of the emotion of gratitude in relationships with children. The author substantiates the relevance of the topic, pointing out the insufficient study of the influence of gratitude on parent-child relationships and child development in the modern stressful world. The paper considers the factors that determine the importance of studying gratitude in the context of child development, including its potential for improving emotional state, developing empathy and social skills. The author provides an overview of existing research in this area, noting the growing interest in the topic among domestic and foreign scientists. Particular attention is paid to identifying unresolved aspects of the problem, such as the age dynamics of gratitude development, individual differences in its perception, long-term effects of gratitude practices, etc. The article offers a theoretical basis and methodology for a comprehensive study of the role of gratitude in child development, including the use of mixed methods and a longitudinal approach. The presented work has the potential to expand the scientific understanding of the importance of gratitude in the formation of healthy parent-child relationships and the development of effective parenting strategies.
