Emotional Intelligence in Primary School – The Key to Academic Success

The main purpose of this study is to determine the role of emotional intelligence in elementary school and to determine the impact of emotional intelligence on the attitude of elementary school students to learning. Emotional intelligence is the ability of a person to recognize the feelings of himself and others, to be self-confident, to try to put himself in the place of another person, to understand and accept events occurring in various situations, to be calm, calm, sensitive to the body movements of others or even the tone of voice, to be able to inspire himself in any situation and control his own desires. That's why people with high emotional intelligence tend to be open to updates and changes, purposeful, confident, determined, able to get along with other people and react appropriately in negative situations. In my research, the place of emotional intelligence in elementary school life has been fully explored and its relationship with students has been examined. The data presented in the study was collected through network research, and based on the data obtained, the place of emotional intelligence in education was examined.
