FEATURES OF USING MODERN TEACHING METHODS IN THE 12-YEAR EDUCATION SYSTEM

This article examines the transition to 12-year education as one of the key directions of educational reform in Kyrgyzstan. In the modern context, the renewal of content, structure, and teaching methods is regarded as an essential requirement for socio-economic development. The 12-year education model is aimed at deepening knowledge while taking into account students’ age-specific characteristics and aligning the system with international experience. In the article, the author compares traditional and innovative teaching methods, focusing on their advantages. Special attention is given to the use of interactive methods, project-based learning, the development of critical thinking, and practice-oriented approaches that help to improve the quality of education.
In addition, the article emphasizes the advantages of the 12-year education system, such as the development of students’ creative abilities, the growth of interest in independent learning, the formation of social skills, and integration into the international educational space. In conclusion, it is argued that changing teaching methods within the framework of 12-year education contributes to improving the quality of learning, preparing competent specialists, and bringing the national education system to the global level.
