Abstract

This article deals with the systematization of theoretical knowledge about the formation and types of definitions of concepts and objects in the elementary course of mathematics and the analysis of the material in order to identify its logical and mathematical structure. The main stages of studying mathematical material are revealed using specific examples and interpretation of from primary school textbooks. Knowing the structure of definitions and choosing possible means that give their mathematical interpretation, the elementary course of mathematics talks about the ways of defining objects and creating them.

In order to understand the foundations of the definition of mathematical objects, it is necessary to define the theoretical structure, emphasizing the logical structure as the basis and the ways of providing mathematical interpretation, as well as the characteristics of actions that reveal the differences in definitions.
