Abstract

Currently, the role of digital technologies in the education system is growing day by day. Especially in teaching mathematics in primary grades, electronic platforms have become one of the main means of improving the quality of teaching, increasing students' interest and developing practical skills. Methodological research in this area opens up new opportunities for teachers and plays an important role in ensuring the effectiveness of teaching.

This article mainly discusses methods for using electronic platforms in teaching multiplication and division in primary grades. The teaching of primary school students is approached very carefully. Their age characteristics, the level of their perception of the topic during explanation, as well as their ability to further assimilate it, etc. should be taken into account. Instructions on explaining multiplication and division operations are given in the methodological manual by I. B. Bekboev entitled “Teaching Mathematics 1-4 Grades”, as well as in the methodological book prepared by the USAID “Okuu keremet!” project for primary school teachers. Electronic platforms can be used to explain new topics, consolidate them, conduct practical work, review, and assess student knowledge. The teacher independently determines the appropriate time, depending on the content and objectives of the lesson.
